Essentially a lifelong competitor, Hallie started swimming at an early age and competed through the collegiate level. But when she crossed the finish line of her first triathlon, she knew instantly that the sport had sunk its meaty, trebled hooks into her. From Sprint to Ironman, Hallie enjoys all triathlon distances—with exceptionally strong results and podium finishes recorded in each. A two-time USAT All American, Hallie’s competed in over ten Half Ironmans as well as six Ironmans—including qualifying and racing Kona at the Ironman World Championships.
Love of Coaching
Hallie’s passion is what makes Zūm Racing what it is. Always striving to one-up herself at being an incredible coach, Hallie’s constantly evolving her coaching—which means she’s always up to learn anything she can from her own experiences, her athletes, or anybody else that loves coaching as much as her. What makes it all worth it for Hallie? Seeing her athletes succeed: “They humble me daily with their hard work and top race results.”
Going the distance
Being a competitive athlete herself for most her life, Hallie understands the drive it takes to train hard, and race even harder. She also understands what it takes to reach the strength, speed and fitness peaks needed to make incredible Ironman-sized dreams come true. After devoting years to being the best athlete she can be, she’s now gathered up all her knowledge and experience (as well as copious notes on where to get the best post-race burrito across many a municipality) to dedicate herself towards developing smart, strong, accomplished, and balanced athletes. She loves sharing her passion: “The process of guiding an athlete to their best possible self is thrilling.”
